Training and Education

HSS Engineering is a full training solutions provider. We provide training programs designed to maximize the benefit you receive from your Giant Voice system. We are passionate learning facilitators and target our training to the level of the participants.

Many customers link the training program to our Installation and Commissioning Services to provide a comprehensive deployment program. We also arrange courses for customers at our training facilities in Denmark for more extensive and specific training.

All class participants are provided with an official HSS Engineering Training Class Certificate stating the level achieved and time of training.

Operators Training.

This level of training provides a course for operators without a technical background. The course will introduce the system concept and all components of the Warning System are described at a basic level. The course will then concentrate on system access and activation procedures.

The Operators Training Course is adapted to a specific system and is normally carried out on the installed equipment once the system is fully integrated. This has the advantage of providing real-time exposure to the individual equipment in place.

Service and Maintenance.

During this course, delegates will learn to identify faults on the warning components from the Giant Voice® Emergency Management System (GV-EMS). It further includes Fault Diagnostic Routines and Testing Procedures. The SMB course will introduce the system concept and all components of the Warning System and are described at a more deeper level.

The SMB is adapted to a specific system and is normally carried out on the installed equipment once the system is fully integrated, just as is the case with Operator Training. This has the advantage of providing real-time exposure to the specific equipment that has been installed.


